If we continue on this path, I do not believe humanity will survive. I believe we need to spend billions of dollars on technological research aimed at producing energy without greenhouse gas emissions and storing large quantities of carbon. It is bound to fail if you ask people to limit themselves, to become more energy efficient. It produces more inequality and offers no solution.
