Spent New Year's day in Hyères in the South of France with my dear friends who live there. We walked in the salt-marshes and for the first time I saw some pink flamingoes in the wild. Those are gorgeous birds. We had a great time together and the weather was very good although a lot of wind — the Mistral — was blowing relentlessly. Owing to the wind the light was beautiful, clean and pure and very crisp. I didn't take my camera with me and I had only my iPhone 4, I managed to take some pictures but the sharpness is not great though the colors and the light are OK.
